  2. There are almost no real ‘colors’ in the photo, yet the brain feels saturated with the PERCEIVED colors. The same with your wonderful poem – a few choice words that light the brain up with thoughts and impressions. Thanks!

    • Insightful comments, Sue, thank you. So right about the photo, too. When I took the shot right into the setting sun, the sunlight seemed to wipe out all of the foreground and left the city of Inverness in shadow, reflecting back off the River Ness. One of my favorite spots I visited in Scotland, I liked the river a lot because it is crystal clear— right to the bottom. 🙂
