Lost Girl

No fading flower
Just a slip of a girl
Headed far off
Searching for fields
Full of sunflowers
She said, no baggage
Following open roads
No more unkindness
For her, no sad goodbyes
West winds calling
That’s all she wrote
Wherever you are, girl
No looking back
Still hoping you find
Someplace to belong
Where blue skies sail
Winding back home

  1. WOW…I’m speechless. Sometimes the art of life can leave us speechless. Thank God for the hope in Christ, that He can reach into the deepest of valleys to save us. What a beautiful poem!

    Have a wonderful weekend 🙂

  2. Is this just a poem or is this an actual person in your life?

  3. This reminds me of our prodigal. She is still on her journey. If you think of her remember her in your prayers. Her name is Elayni
