Clear Lake 2013 S.Michaels
Down by the lake
Where sky meets land
And blue waves laugh
As if young forever
I pause to hear again
The heartbeat of Earth
Listening, as the rocks
I catch the music
And fill my plate
Full up with joy

  1. Amazing description of the beautiful photo. A lake had it own personality.

  2. Very nice! Blessings, Natalie 🙂

  3. Such beautiful words, they leave me aching 🙂

  4. What beautiful poetry that echoes the artistic photography— the colors of blue on earth and sky indeed unite them. The ripples and the waves on the lake are reminiscent of songs —“Blue waves echo songs as young as forever’

  5. This is absolutely beautiful. It makes me wish for spring. That’s odd because it is usually fall that creates the nostalgia your poem speaks to.

  6. Fallen in love with nature.. Feeling the same love in your words… 🙂 Keep writing..

  7. Descriptive thoughts that speak to the heart.
