Arise!

Arise, my people! Let your light shine for all the nations to see! For the glory of the Lord is streaming from you. Darkness as black as night shall cover all the peoples of the earth, but the glory of the Lord will shine from you. (Isaiah 60: 1, 2 TLB)

Does God still speak today?

Yes. His Word is from everlasting. His Word does not return empty when it is received in His peoples’ hearts or spoken from their lips. God’s Word is alive and active.

As He spoke through the prophet Isaiah of ages past, the Lord also spoke to generations to come…to this very generation we live in today. His Word unchanging rings out a clarion call for all the world to hear, above all the noise and distractions and clamour. His Word goes forth with clarity and bold brightness, and shines forever.  His Word is life and hope. Arise! As He spoke to the man broken by the Pool of Bethesda, He speaks now…today! Arise!

Saints of God (for that is what He calls YOU), Arise! today and go your way rejoicing! The Lord your God is with YOU and He is mighty in the land, for as it is written:

Great and marvellous are Your doings, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the Ages. Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and stand in awe and glorify Your Name? For You alone are holy.  All nations will come and worship before You for Your righteous deeds have been disclosed. (Revelation 15: 3, 4)

  1. What an uplifting and encouraging message. I was blessed! Thank you so much!

  2. Beautiful picture and message. How often do I live a discouraged life because I don’t take the time to count my innumerable blessings from the Lord. Great reminder, thanks and Lord bless.

  3. God still speaks in our hearts when we seek Him.
