No Ordinary Pearls

Tears flow. Watering life
Moon drops. Laughing flowers
Where willows wept in rivers
You birthed uncommon visions
On silken pillows. You wove dreams
Unearthed things new. Organic spaces
Long awakenings. Journeys of time
Unveiled slowly. Under pressure
No ordinary pearls. Priceless.

  1. I absolutely love this…my mother’s name was Pearl. She died last July, she was 83. I’ve written a book based on her life, called, Pray Pearl Pray, not published yet. She was a minister of the gospel for over fifty years…I miss her dearly…this poem touches my core and I cry. It sounds just like her. Under pressure, no ordinary pearls, priceless…she was to me! I do have the hope and assurance that I’ll see her again…I loved this! In fact it has inspired me. 🙂 ❤
