Somewhere in the World

Somewhere in the world

A child looks up,  reaches out

Forgotten,  hungering beyond

Anything imagined. A small hand

Unaware God sees heaven in his eyes

And mirrored in his soul, all the world’s neglect

Speaking volumes, ten x ten thousand sermons

Little ones, grasping all that’s there

A handful of dirt mixed with tears

Jesus wept…for to little ones His Kingdom belongs

And whatever is done unto the least

Has been done unto Him
