Stone’s Throw

Standing. At life’s shorelines
While others cast stones,
God’s people cast bread
Upon waters. Faith waits
For the Lord

Waiting. At life’s shorelines
Ripples circle as stones skip
Burdens cast aside as stones
By still waters. Faith rests
Trusting Him

Resting. At life’s shorelines
While many strive to succeed
God’s people stand in faith
And a stone’s throw away
God smiles
