Moments of life
Ephemeral, drifting
Washed by seas of time
Like freshwater pearls
Lives imperfect, yet invaluable
Are treasures rare
For the pearl fisherman
Diving dark waters with light
Gathering His nets cast wide
Lost pearls and priceless
Are most desired
Every soul weighed
In a balance divine
Each life heaven’s pearl
A rare treasure to Him

Wow Susan! This poem is truly poignant. It really made me stop and think. Would you be interested in contributing some poems to a woman’s ebook project I am organising? I would love to give you more info if you are interested?
Nissi x
